The International Association of Trichologists, a non-profit corporation, was established to promote the study, research and legitimate practice in all aspects pertaining to the treatment and care of the human hair and scalp in health and disease, and to supply comprehensive instruction, training and aid to the professional application of these scientific specialities.

All profits derived from material published or sold by or otherwise obtained by the International Association of Trichologists will be applied to further research, thus allowing I.A.T. to subsequently impart ever-evolving knowledge to its members.

Definition of Trichology

Trichology is the science of the hair and scalp. More specifically, it is the science of diagnosing and treating, within the limits of professional license, maladies of the hair and scalp.
